Saturday, October 27th
started out windy and chilly. Thirty two
shooters braved the weather and it turned out to be a beautiful day to play.
Three stages had bonus targets although
the clay bird/horse fiasco was somewhat dangerous for the timer, at least on
our posse.
Gun troubles seemed to haunt several of
us as there were a number of broken or jammed firearms. But all in all it was a great time, however
maybe we should take up a donation for the Salsa Brothers so they could buy
some cigars that are more tobacco than “horse pucky”.
Our fall and winter get togethers will
be at a new location this year, the Okoboji Bar and Grill in
In the meantime, keep your powder dry;
see you later, God willing and the creek don’t rise.

By afternoon it warmed up enough to enjoy a fine seegar with my Salsa Brother
