COMMENTS FROM CAP May 24th started out as a cloudy, rainy day as usual, but the Lord blessed us and the rain went around the range. Many hardy souls drove in rain to get to the shoot and fortunately the sprinkles stopped just before most arrived at the range. Our shooters meeting went off as scheduled and approximately 30 people participated in the activities. We enjoyed a new Saloon Stage (#7) that was put into place just a few days prior to the match, due to the hard work and personal expense of some of our members. I would like to take this time to express my sincere appreciation to those people that helped with this project. We want to welcome two new members to our club: Trigger Happy Husband AKA Jerry Husband
from We have a new scoring system this year, so please be patient until we get the “bugs” worked out. A big Thank You to Sue Dooley for another fine meal of hot roast beef sandwiches, baked beans, chips, chocolate cookies and banana nut bread. Quite tasty! Several people completed the match with no misses but those dog gone procedurals! No one shot a clean match this month. See you next match on June 28th; God willing and the creek don’t rise.
